Central Saint Martins Alumni, Visual Artist

Hannah Scott

Hannah is a practicing artist and graduate of the MA Art and Science programme at Central Saint Martins. Her work explores ways of visualising and communicating environmental change.

In her most recent project, ‘All This Stuff Is Killing Me’ Hannah shed material possessions and embarked on a low-carbon footprint bicycle journey around the UK and New Zealand, considering the relationships between mass-consumption, plastic pollution and climate change. Along the way, she visited seventeen Amazon distribution centres, spent one month on board a cargo ship, and visited sites of significance to reflect on environmental and personal loss.

Hannah was awarded a MullenLowe NOVA Award in 2017 for her work exploring the impact of plastic on the environment.
