Kelly Mullen leads Unilever Entertainment, a team of specialists that craft pop culture stories for Unilever’s 400+ brands. She began her career in film and television at companies including CAA and Paramount Pictures before joining Groundswell Productions, where she led creative development for Academy Award-nominated producer Michael London. At Groundswell, she worked on critically acclaimed films such as Milk and Win Win; brought numerous films from genesis to distribution and was also a production executive on one of Amazon’s first pilots.
As Executive Producer, Kelly has most notably led the creation of Apple TV+ and Imagine Entertainment’s documentary film, Dads, and also the historical drama Trumbo, starring Bryan Cranston and Helen Mirren. Trumbo’s screenplay (which she developed) won the Writers Guild of America’s Paul Selvin Award and Cranston was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.
Prior to joining Unilever, Kelly led branded entertainment creation for PR firm Ketchum, where she crafted premium brand stories for clients such as Samsung, Nestle and HP. Her recent award wins for Unilever include 3 Clios, The Multicultural Marketing SABRE Award, The Tribeca Film Festival’s Tribeca X Award, and The Women’s Wear Daily Marketing Campaign of the Year.
